March 15th Wrap Up: Ok, there is some mainstream coverage of Winter Soldier... it's just outside of the United States

As KPFA's Aaron Glantz and Aimee Allison said during today's broadcast, many of the comments on our blog had something to do with the lack of mainstream coverage of the Winter Soldier 2008 event. However, one of our blog participants, "Mena" tells us "it's only a blurb but the BBC website has a brief video on this event." Earlier, Aimee Allison blogged about the Pentagon's New Statement on Winter Soldier Iraq and Afghanistan, which was reported on by the AP. The Iraq Veterans Against the War has already responded - read about it here.

Highlights from today's broadcast included talks on Racism and War: Dehumanization of the Enemy, as well as Gender and Sexuality in the Military. We'll be posting more audio clips on warcomeshome.org soon, or listen to the entire 10 hour broadcast archive on here on KPFA.org.
